Celtic drew 1-1 with Aberdeen at Pittodrie in what was a hugely disappointing afternoon for The Bhoys. Nicolas Kuhn drew the Hoops level just after the hour mark and from there on in, it looked as though the visitors might come away with a crucial victory.
They didn’t, though, and today’s result has only heightened the equal level of concern and frustration among the supporters right now. Missed chances were inherent to Saturday’s display, particularly in the first half.
As the second went on, the Celts did threaten in their attempts to win the match, but they never once went ahead. On the bench, midfielder Paulo Bernardo, who was withdrawn on the hour mark, appeared a more than frustrated figure, mirroring the reactions of the travelling support and fans watching on from home:

With fourteen league games remaining, the title remains up for grabs. In their quest for it, however, Celtic need to up their game because they seem to be on a downward trajectory at the minute.
Wednesday’s trip to Easter Road is all of a sudden colossal and over the next few weeks and months, the champions’ title challenge hangs in the balance.
