    Watch: Kyogo’s Incredible Headed Goal

Kyogo Furuhashi has given Celtic the lead against St Johnstone in the 40th minute.

Nicolas Kuhn yet again showed his creative threat as he played another incredible ball over the top to Kyogo, with the Japanese striker calmly heading past Dimitar Mitov.

In a pass reminiscent of his assist for Daizen Maeda last weekend against Livingston, Kuhn presents a different threat for Celtic with his ability to eliminate defenders, providing the Hoops’ frontline with more opportunities in front of goal.

Celtic have missed that creative threat in the frontline, and with Kuhn’s final ball posing a constant threat, it is clear that he will prove an important player in the coming months.

After wisdom tooth surgery and losing a considerable amount of weight upon joining Celtic due to the dental problem, Kuhn faced a challenge to get back to full fitness.

However, in the past two games, he has begun to show what he is made of and why Brendan Rodgers signed him in January.

With Kyogo and Maeda continually looking to run in behind opposition defenders, Kuhn’s vision to find them is something that the Hoops have lacked all season.

Kyogo himself was under considerable pressure before the game, being named in the starting 11 over Adam Idah.

It was clear that if he did not perform this afternoon, he would find it tough to regain his place in the starting 11, with Rodgers favoring Idah over him in recent weeks.
