Celtic is gearing up for a nostalgic return to Paradise as the club has announced a special Legends charity match against a Borussia Dortmund select XI, set to take place on May 26th.
Organized by the Celtic Foundation, this event aims to raise crucial funds for various causes, particularly focusing on providing food provision amid the ongoing cost-of-living crisis affecting the UK and Ireland. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Dundee Cancer Centre at Ninewells Hospital, a cause close to Scott Brown’s heart.
In a reunion that is sure to evoke memories and excitement among fans, Scott Brown will once again lead the team as captain, stepping onto the turf of Parkhead where he has previously inspired countless memorable moments. Adding to the occasion’s prestige, Paul Lambert, a figure synonymous with both Celtic and Borussia Dortmund, will take the helm as manager of the Celtic Legends, with Tom Boyd, another iconic figure in the club’s history, serving as his assistant.
The match presents a unique opportunity for supporters to see some of their favourite Hoops icons back in action, all while contributing to a noble cause.
With tickets now on sale to season ticket holders, adults can secure their place for £15, while concessions are priced at £7.
