Former Celtic youth prospect Karamoko Dembele seems to have got his career back on track this season.
Currently on loan at Blackpool, he has racked up 40 appearances across all competitions, contributing seven goals and 11 assists, Dembele has been a pivotal figure for Blackpool, aiding their push towards the League One play-offs.
His impressive form has not gone unnoticed, with interest reportedly coming from both Premier League and Championship clubs. Among the Premier League sides, Everton, Nottingham Forest, West Ham, Fulham, and Brentford are all said to be keen on securing Dembele’s services post his Bloomfield Road stint. Additionally, Leicester, Southampton, Leeds, and Championship side Middlesbrough are also monitoring the 21-year-old winger. [HITC]
Having two years left on his contract with Brest, Dembele finds himself with a wealth of options for the next step in his career.
He’s starting to realise some of the potential he was said to have when he was coming through the Celtic ranks, but you’ve got to admit, his career so far hasn’t lived up anywhere near the expectations everyone had of him.
