The team suffered a surprising semi-final exit after a 2-0 defeat to Jordan, a result overshadowed by an off-field incident involving Tottenham captain Heung-min Son.

According to The Sun, an altercation occurred the night before the semi-final match, involving Son and other team members. The dispute reportedly began during a team meal and escalated during a subsequent ping pong game, leading to Son dislocating his finger.

The incident highlights tensions within the squad, with younger players allegedly leaving the meal early, prompting Son to ask them to return. This request was met with disrespectful remarks towards Son, triggering the altercation.

Despite the incident, Son played in the semi-final with visible strapping on his fingers. Son continued to play with his injury upon his return to Tottenham, showcasing the severity of the situation.

The return of Oh and Yang to Celtic sees them reintegrating into club duties, as both were featured on the bench and subsequently participated in Celtic’s Cup victory over St Mirren on Sunday.
