    Another Champions League Change Announced

There is another significant change to the format of the UEFA Champions League next season as the traditional draw method will be replaced by a computerised system.

This marks the end of the customary draw event, which involved pots and Champions League-branded balls, as Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol explained.

Celtic is eyeing participation in what is anticipated to be the most lucrative Champions League season yet. The stakes are higher than ever, with direct entry into the competition being a prize for winning the domestic league. For Celtic, clinching the Scottish Premiership title would secure their spot in the group stages of the Champions League, bypassing the need for qualifying rounds.

However, should Celtic finish the season without the league title, they face the challenge of navigating through two qualifying rounds to earn their place in the competition. This adds an extra layer of pressure to their campaign, particularly given the tight race for the top spot in the Scottish Premiership.

Currently trailing by two points, the outcome of the remaining matches, including two crucial derbies against Rangers, could significantly influence Celtic’s European ambitions.
