Adam Idah Gives Inside Track On Celtic Move

Adam Idah was announced as Celtic’s second January signing not long before Thursday’s transfer deadline. The Irish striker came in on loan from English Championship side Norwich City.

There is no option to buy in the deal, with Idah heading back to East Anglia after the season ends. That will in no way negate the fact that his full focus will be on Celtic, however, with the 22-year-old eager to win trophies and score goals in Glasgow over the next few months.

His potential is coherent, and Brendan Rodgers even compared him to Moussa Dembele in his press conference on Friday. On the same day, CeltsAreHere.com were given the chance to speak to the new Bhoy, who gave the inside track on his transfer to the Hoops.

When asked about when he was first made aware of the club’s interest, Idah said: “I first heard, I think it was Monday morning, so it was quite a stressful couple of days.”

Considering he wasn’t announced until late on Thursday evening, it took a while to get things ironed out. Idah may not have been the champions’ number-one striking target this month, but the fans will assuredly get behind him and give him the backing any other new signing would receive.
