Celtic’s crucial league tie with St. Mirren has sold out within three hours. Tickets for the game only went on general sale this morning, but no more were available by early afternoon.
The clash with the Buddies takes place on Saturday 13th April, and it will be The Bhoys’ first match after the pivotal Glasgow Derby on April 7th.
Although it is a long way away yet – three and a half weeks – it is the Celts’ next home game. This is due to the international break, and the first two matches after it being away from home to Livingston and Rangers.
Being the last game before the split, it will be nothing short of critical, regardless of the result at Ibrox.
Against the Buddies, this season, Brendan Rodgers’ side has been formidable, picking up three victories out of three.
In those matches, The Bhoys have netted seven times, winning 2-1 at home, and 3-0 and 2-0 consecutively in Paisley. Any repeat of such results would be greatly welcomed in front of a capacity crowd in just under a month.
