Daizen Maeda’s recent transformation from a skinhead to sporting hair has grabbed the attention of fans.
The change for the Japanese international was driven by his 5-year-old.
Maeda, who initially embraced a bald look, decided to grow his hair out following his daughter’s preference for him to have a longer hairstyle, akin to that of his fellow Japanese international, Takumi Minamino.
But, away on international duty with his country ahead of a doubleheader against South Korea, he’s changed his look, again.
The decision to dye his hair blonde while on international duty with Japan adds a fresh twist to his look, signaling a bold departure from his previous style.

At first many thought that the new style could be edited, but footage from the official Japanese national team shows that he is indeed rocking this new style.

I wonder what his daughter will make of this when he returns to Glasgow next week!
