Forgotten Celtic man Gustaf Lagerbielke has sent a message to the Hoops’ support following his contributions to Saturday’s 3-1 win over St. Johnstone.
Kyogo Furuhashi, Nicolas Kuhn, and James Forrest got in on the act in what was a dominant performance full of positives.
Lagerbielke came on in the second half, but Tomoki Iwata initially took the place of Cameron Carter-Vickers at the heart of the defence when the American colossus came off.
Celtic conceded not long after this but manager Brendan Rodgers soon solved the issue by bringing on the Swedish international.

It was Lagerbielke’s first appearance since the beginning of January and his third in five and a half months.
He made his contributions to the win and took to Instagram after it. The 23-year-old captioned a few photos with ‘+3 and we keep going’:
This season, Celtic have had a wealth of issues at the heart of the defence. Injuries have been constant and although he has remained fit throughout the campaign, Lagerbielke has managed to rack up just ten games across all competitions.
He recently revealed he will assess his future come the end of the season and if the ex-Elfsborg man doesn’t begin to get more minutes, one imagines he won’t be a Celt next campaign.
