Brendan Rodgers expressed his delight with Nicolas Kuhn’s impact this afternoon at Celtic Park against St. Johnstone.
Despite a difficult few months since joining in January, Kuhn was a standout against Craig Levein’s side with a goal and an assist.
Kuhn’s assist for Kyogo Furuhashi’s opener, in particular, was a moment of genius with his vision to find the Japanese striker.

He is finding his strength and his confidence.
“Day-by-day in training you can see that and he was very aggressive in the one versus one situation and he made a great assist for the first goal.
“He was really creative and had good speed and he got a goal himself. That is the efficiency you want from your wide players.”
Kuhn may have had a slow start to life at Celtic, but if today’s game is anything to go by, we are in for a treat in the coming months.
With the Scottish Premiership title race very much on, the German may very well prove to be the difference-maker with his creativity and ability to score goals.
