Brendan Rodgers has confirmed his Celtic team that will face Aberdeen at Pittodrie this afternoon. From last weekend’s narrow win over Ross County, there is one solitary change.
In goal, Joe Hart keeps his place as does Alistair Johnston at right-back. Liam Scales remains at the heart of the defence, but his partner this week is Maik Nawrocki, who replaces the injured Cameron Carter-Vickers. Alexandro Bernabei starts again at left-back.
Callum McGregor captains the side in the engine room, with Matt O’Riley and Paulo Bernardo, who have been ever-present since last month, teaming up with the skipper on his 451st appearance in green and white.
Up top, Kyogo expectedly leads the line. Liel Abada begins on the right wing, as does Luis Palma on the left despite missing two penalties last time out.
New signing Adam Idah makes the bench, with the likes of Scott Bain, Tony Ralston, Stephen Welsh, James Forrest, Odin Holm, Nicolas Kuhn, and academy graduates Rocco Vata and Daniel Kelly also among the subs.
Kick-off for this one is at 12.30 pm, and the match is live on Sky Sports.
